Sunday morning my daughter woke up with the idea "I want to make chocolate waffles today like the ones from the shop". My answer was "Yes, and they will be better than the ones we've bought". I was not wrong ...
Ingredients:
- 400ml milk
- 75g melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 250g all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon rum essence
- 1 tabblespoon of sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 200g chocolate
- 50g butter
Directions:
- Mix the milk, butter, eggs, flour, rum, sugar and salt until obtaining a homogeneous composition.
- Preheat the waffle maker and brush it (if needed) with a bit of oil.
- Pour a small ladle of composition in each waffle form.
- Let them cook for 3-4 minutes and cool on a grill.
- Repeat the same until you finish the composition.
- Break the chocolate in pieces and melt it together with the 50g of butter in bain-marie.
- Dip one side of the waffle in chocolate and let it harden for 15 minutes on the grill.
