In fact, it is the first time I made pancakes and they were gone in one shot. None of them was left for later ...
... and with this I doubt they need more presentation ...
Ingredients:
- 300ml milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 250g all purpose flour
- 30g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 65g butter (melted)
- 1 pinch of salt
- olive oil for brushing the pan
Directions:
- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
- Add the eggs and mix well.
- Add the melted butter and mix.
- Pour the milk slowly while mixing. The batter is thick and this is normal.
- Let it stand cover for 1 hour.
- Heat the pan and brush it with olive oil.
- Use a pancake shape if you like (I used a Mickey Mouse shape) and pour a ladle of batter in the pan. If you do not use a shape make them 10-12cm in diameter.
- After 1-2 minutes turn the pancake and let it cook for another 1 minute.
- Repeat the process for each pancake until you have finished the batter. Do not forget to brush the pan with olive oil between each pancake.
- Serve them with jam of cherries or raspberries... or whatever you prefer.
