Some spaghetti with home made bolognese sauce. Aren't you just a bit hungry ?
Ingredients:
- 4 small onions - chopped
- 10 garlic cloves - chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1200g minced meat (pork and veal)
- 800g chopped tomato in sauce
- 280g concentrated tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoons dried (or fresh) basil
- salt
- pepper
- 1kg spaghetti
- Parmesan cheese or Pecorino Romano cheese
- parsley leaves for decoration
Directions:
- In a high pan, heat the olive oil.
- Add the onions and garlic and let them cook for 5 minutes. Stir them.
- Add the meat and separate the meat well with a spoon.
- Add the chopped tomato, tomato sauce and basil.
- Add salt and pepper on your taste.
- Let it cook for 30 minutes, stirring from time to time.
- In another pot, cook the spaghetti: add water and wait until boiling then ads a pinch of salt and the spaghetti. They should be cooked in 10-15 minutes.
- Drain the spaghetti and lay them on plates.
- When the sauce is done, use a ladle to add the sauce on top of each plate with spaghetti.
- Grate some Parmesan cheese or Pecorino Romano cheese over, on you own taste.
- Decorate with parsley leaves.
