I have found this recipe long time ago and I declare it my favorite tart with banana. Is very easy to make, it is very quick and is a delicious desert to serve especially when you are missing the time to bake more fancy cakes.
Ingredients:
- 400g shortcrust pastry
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 6 banana (cut in slices)
- 20g butter (optional, only to greasy the pan)
- vanilla extract (optional, for an improved aroma)
- cinnamon (optional, for an improved aroma)
Directions:
- Stretch the pastry on a pizza pan that was initially buttered to avoid sticking. Let the border a bit thicker.
- Mix the flour with sugar and sprinkle it on top of the shortcrust pastry.
- Lay the banana slices over.
- (optional) if you chose to increase the aroma, add on top cinnamon and vanilla extract.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 240ºC for 15-20 minutes.
Serve it with caramel sauce if you like.
The recipe was inspired from here.
