Ingredients for the dough:
- 480ml water
- 900g all purpose flour
- 80g fresh yeast
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
Ingredients for filling:
- 500g mushrooms (diced)
- 1 big boiled chicken breast (~250g, diced)
- 3 red bell peppers (diced)
- 2 eggs (beaten)+ another 1 or 2 for brushing
- 1 hand of parsil (chopped)
- 200g heavy cream
- 400g of emmental cheese (grated)
- 1 tablespoon chicken stock
- pepper
- salt
Directions:
- Put all the ingredients for dough in the bread machine or in an electric mixer. Let it raise for 1h30.
- Dice the mushrooms, peepers, chicken breast.
- Cut the parsley.
- Mix all the ingredients for the filling in a big ball.
- Split the dough in 12 pieces.
- Take one piece, and stretch it with a rolling pin in a rectangular form. Imagine that you'll need to divide this rectangle in 3 parts on the longer side. take a knife and fringe diagonally the 2 parts on the side. The part inside remains uncut.
- Put around 3 spoons of the filling in the middle part and braid the fringes from the 2 sides like an ear.
- Repeat the same steps for all 12 pieces of dough.
- Brush the top with beaten eggs to brown nicely when baked.
- Put them in the oven at 180ÂșC for 45 minutes.
