The dough is the same as for the Cozonac. You can find it here.
Ingredients for the filling:
- 500g cottage cheese
- 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar
- 2 teaspoons rum essence
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons semolina
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 100g raisins
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- Add all the ingredients and mix them well
- Take out the dough from the bread machine and split it in 2: one stretch it to fit the bottom of the pan and the second one split it again in 2 and form 2 rolls to be twisted.
- Put the stretch dough on the bottom of the pan and put the twisted dough near the walls of the pan.
- Put it in the oven for 60 min at 50ºC to raise.
- Take it out and put the filling in the middle of the cake, having the twisted dough as walls.
- [optionally] Beat an egg and brush the remaining dough of the cake with it.
- Put it in the oven at 150ºC for 50 min.
