I was craving for some white, fluffy and tasty bread, so I searched for a recipe with milk in my cookbooks
Ingredients:
- 420ml milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 20g butter
- 700g bread flour
- 4 teaspoons of dried yeast
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- (for decoration) 1 egg
- (for decoration) sunflower seeds
- Put all the ingredients in the listed order.
- Program the bread machine to make the dough. Mine takes 90 min to mix it and raise it.
- Take out the dough and split it in 4 (2 for each bread).
- Form 4 long rolls and twist by 2.
- Put the 2 breads in 2 non-sticky pans.
- Beat the egg and brush each bread with it, then sprinkle the sunflower seeds on top.
- Put them in the oven to raise again for 45 min at 50ºC.
- Increase the heat to 180ºC and keep them for another 30 min.
No chance to take it back and to convince her later to eat her lunch :D
